Lago Verde and the Enchanted Forest

Half an afternoon by boat through the creeks of Lago Verde, swimming at Pindobal beach and sunset at Ponta do Cururú, where pink river dolphins appear.

Duration
Half day
Departure
14:30
Return
19:00
Vessel
up to 7 people

Leaves at 2:30pm and returns with the sun going down. The route enters the creeks that feed Lago Verde, clear-water springs winding through vegetation before emptying into the lake. During high water, February to August, you can paddle into the Enchanted Forest, a stretch of submerged woodland navigated between the treetops. In the dry season, September to January, you walk the banks of those same creeks instead. Then a swim at Pindobal beach and a final stop at Ponta do Cururú for sunset, where pink river dolphins are a frequent sight.
